Artist Profile - Tuli Fisher - Blacksmith

Tuli Fisher is a full-time blacksmith in Bozeman, Montana. He graduated at Montana State University with degrees in Museum Studies and History. Since 1999 he's been forging hand tools and studying traditional tool making in various settings. His Iron & Wood Garden tools are based on functional, time-tested implements found in traditional agricultural communities. The weight and strength of each tool provides increased capability in working soil, while the hand turned handles provide sturdiness and comfort. Each tool is made of heavy-gauge wrought iron and is set into a walnut handle. While each tool is hot, it is riveted together and burned into the handle creating a long lasting gardening tool with no welds.
